Daniel P.  Charette

Dan Charette, owner and founder of Charette Pro Audio, has been instrumental in the development, manufacture and ongoing requirements of the Ambient Therapy System.

Charette established his own company in 1994 following positions in the electronic engineering and design arena.  Today his company is known for its customized approach to design, product and technological innovations.

In providing development and design consultation on the Ambient Therapy System, Charette’s close collaboration with Chip Davis produced a prototype ATS sound delivery system.  They then worked with selected medical facilities to test and further refine the ATS unit through user interface ergonomics for ease of use, room assessment, placement parameters, calibration and final testing.

As the ATS is adopted into each unique medical environment, Charette augments the design to include the necessary safety and device requirements to exceed mandated electrical codes and EMI emission standards for safe and reliable operations.  He also provides “hands-on” support as the customers integrate the Ambient systems into their facilities.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Charette holds a B.S. in electronics engineering, and specializes in digital control of high-performance analog circuitry in the professional audio field.
